Esco Bedpan with Cover 1128-SD is a receptacle used for the toileting of a bedridden patient in a health care facility A bedpan can be used for both urinary and faecal discharge. Many diseases can confine a patient to bed, necessitating the use of bedpans, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and dementia. Additionally, many patients may be confined to a bed temporarily as a result of a temporary illness, injury, or surgery. Bedpans support the patient with a larger area of less-conductive plastic. It designs completely cover the genitalia during use, offering protection and an extra measure of privacy.

How to use Esco Bedpan with Cover
- Sprinkle baby powder on the edge of the bedpan to make it easier to slide under the person.
- If the person can sit up and lift up their hips slightly, or if there is an additional helper ask them to help them do so, as you slide the bedpan under the bottom.
- If the person is unable to lift their hips, help the person turn to the side.
- Gently press the bedpan against their buttocks and then help them turn back onto the bedpan.
- Ensure you hold the bedpan in position and help the person roll of the bedpan then carefully place the bed pan to a side.
- If the user is able to lift their own hips initially then when they are finished ask the person to raise their hips again and remove the bedpan.
- Remember if you can leave the person alone safely once you have initially placed the bedpan under, then leave the room to give them privacy.
- If the person needs assistance wiping, then help them do so.
- Then empty the bedpan into a toilet.
- Clean the bedpan as recommended on the packaging or in line with additional information given.

Order Processing Time and Standard Shipping
Most orders are processed within 2 business days upon receiving the order. Orders placed before 1:00pm (GMT+8:00) should be received within 1-7 business days. Delayed or Lost Orders
A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days. Although orders normally take much less time than that, we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed or unless the parcel has been confirmed as lost by the courier service.
