Definition of anemia:
Hb< 11 g/dL in the first and third trimester
Hb< 10.5 g/dL in the second trimester

Iron deficiency:
Ferritin (iron stores) <15mg/L which is not affected by recent iron ingestion, but it might taise in infection and inflammation
Serum Fe and TIBC will be flutuate with recent iron ingestion
